You spend far more time with your child than any therapist. Caregiver training gives you tools that work in real life — at dinner, in the car, at bedtime.
Understanding behavior
Why behaviors happen and how to respond consistently.
Encouraging communication
Creating chances for your child to ask, choose, and share.
Routines & transitions
Visual schedules, warnings, and first-then strategies.
Reinforcement that works
Using praise and preferred items effectively.
Community outings
Preparing for stores, doctor visits, and family events.
Sleep, feeding & toileting
Step-by-step plans for common daily challenges.
The BCBA explains a strategy, shows it with your child, then coaches you as you try it — with feedback, not judgment. Sessions can include grandparents, nannies, or other caregivers, and can be held in person or by secure video.
Caregiver training is included in every ABA plan. It's also available on its own for families who want guidance without full-time therapy.
